showed they are ready for NHRA competition. All of us at TBR are happy to help get them on their way to a complete and successful drag racing career. Since Blake and Damon were licensed through Tom Bayer's School of Drag Racing, they are both now eligible to take part in a unique program that allows them to participate in Tom Bayer Racing's Team-Mate Pro-gram where they can drive a team car at a local, re-gional, or national event. SCEDA Event Racing Recap
The recently completed Southern California Drag Rac-ing Association event held at Auto Club Dragway June 16th-17th proved to be a busy one for Tom Bayer Racing. TBR fielded a four car team in the Super Pro class with drivers Kai Schuette, Carol Krancich, and the father/daughter team of Tim and Katie Takeshita. It was an especially exciting weekend for Kai and Car-ol since this was their first competitive race since li-censing with TBR back in 2017. Kai won his first round of racing on Sunday with a 8.800 @ 154.00 mph! Carol also won her first round of racing during Satur-day's race clocking in at X.XX @ XXX.XX! The father/daughter team ran well with Katie returning to the cockpit after a two year hiatus driving like a champ running 8.70s @ 155+ mph. Tim was performing great running 8.teens @ 165.XX mph! Unfortunately Tim and Katie had early exits from racing during the weekend, however they had a great time racing against each other and are looking forward to doing it again real soon.
