Major James Diroff Scores Semi-Final Finish at Bakersfield
Tom Bayer Racing driver Major James Diroff raced into the Super Pro semi-finals in the Lucas Oil TV Dragster at the NHRA Summit ET Series event held at the iconic Famoso Raceway June 2nd-3rd. Major James had been out of the seat for over a year, how-ever returned with stellar reaction times with a best
reaction time of .001 and showed he was ready for competition. Unfortunately Major James lost in the semi-finals with a red light. Major James best elapsed time of the event was 7.77 and had a top speed of 171 mph. Overall it was a successful return to the cockpit and we hope to see Major James back out soon.
